A FILM SOUP film is a 35mm analog film that is manipulated with various substances before exposure. To achieve the desired effects, the film must first be completely immersed in liquids. After this process, the film is carefully dried again so that it can be used in the camera.
Each FILM SOUP film is unique and carefully manipulated and dried by hand. The intensity of the effects and color tones may vary and are influenced by the camera used, lighting conditions, and camera and scanning software settings.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON USING THE FILMS:
To create the film effect, the film was immersed in various liquids and then dried by hand. The film - especially the beginning - can be slightly wavy. With cameras with an automatic film feed, a little patience is sometimes required until the film can be wound into the camera. The film canister may show clear traces of the FILM SOUP. Please contact your photo lab in advance to see if they develop FILM SOUP films. You can of course also develop the FILM SOUP film yourself. Please note that your developing chemicals may be affected by the FILM SOUP film. Because this is an experimental film, the effects of each individual film may vary even when immersed in the same liquids. Photographs seen online with this film serve as examples. The camera used, the lighting conditions, and the camera settings can influence the colors and intensity of the FILM SOUP effects on your photographs. Using manipulated film is basically possible with any analog camera. However, please keep in mind that HANALOGITAL cannot guarantee flawless operation in your camera.
